Description

17-06-2024 Small text update

Could someone post their print profiles :) ( i am not that great at that)

Consider following me on Instagram (@SMACKMAX_). I try to post all of my prints, renders, and animations to build a portfolio of my projects, often in advance of publishing the models. This way, you can get a sneak peek of what's coming next! https://www.instagram.com/smackmax_/

Gimmicks:

Holds 4 x C-card style cards,

Optional 'bonus kaart' card slot,

Ajustable tension lever,

Some notes for printing:

* i could not get the object support-less withour sacraficing some function, some parts really need a setback surface area to make sure the cards dont snag on the iM4nner working of the slide or the lever;

* The multi colour version is very wastefull, and produces alot of purge material, but is pretty!

* Model only supports 4 credit card style cards, i might add a more card version if there is demand;

* Uses generic M3 countersink bolts with a total system lenght of 10 mm (just some i had around the house) and one M4 15-20 mm

* Consider leaving a review i often revisit my designs!

printed M2 screws and increased it by 40%, it was OK, adjusted the arm a bit since it was sandwiching the covers wrong, had to add 2mm then had to cut the arm and lowered the outside oval it by 2mm, then i printed it vertically, snug fit ( I dont recommend the screws being printed but i just wanted it as it and how it functions is while im waiting for the metal ones)

Still waiting for the right size countersink screws to arrive, but the wallet works great and looks good.

Are you sure those are M2 screws? I ordered M2 screws to make this, and they are way too small

I see on printables, that it must be an error here, that the screws are M3 and M4.... so i guess i just wasted my money :(

I made this model with PETG and I like it, but you stated that it needs M2 and M3 bolts, but it needs M3 and M4 bolts. Correct the text and you are good to go. Mine is very very tight and I will probably pull it apart and shave some off of the tip of the lever so it doesn't pus so much force on the cards. One last thing. I don't think it needed brims at all. They only added difficulty cleaning up and the bottom piece prints with a different color of filament than the part itself. It prints red if the text is red, since it is printed as the first layer. Thanks! Steve
