Description

3D Printed Modular Sponge stand
This is a functional, two-piece sponge holder designed to keep your kitchen sink organized and your sponges dry. The design focuses on hygiene and durability through a modular setup.

Features:
Dual-Layer Design: The upper section features a slotted drainage grate to allow airflow, while the lower base acts as a reservoir to catch excess water drippings.

Low-Profile Reservoir: The bottom tray is designed to hold a significant amount of runoff without being bulky, keeping your countertop dry.

Easy to Clean: The parts separate easily so you can dump out the water and rinse the unit.

Technical Specs & Recommendations:
Material Used: Printed in PLA for the prototype.

Pro Tip: While PLA works well for initial fitment, I recommend printing the final version in PETG offers better water resistance, higher temperature tolerance, and long-term durability for wet kitchen environments.
