I designed this tool for removing and installing the plastic piston sleeve of the 2000 onward La Pavoni leaver espresso machine. It has worked well for me, I have also seen people use it for older gen models too with metal sleeves, though I can't comment on which other models it may fit.
I have added a hole to insert a Phillips head screw driver if you need extra leverage but this feature is untested by me so be warned.
Make sure you print this either solid or with a high wall count to the point where the teeth (that engage with the sleeve) are solid in the layer preview.
Cheers!
PLA, PLA +/tough, PETG should all work.
I printed this with a 0.6 nozzle 0.3 layer height with 5 outer layers (vertical shells) this is to give the teeth enough strength. A thicker top shell layer number will also help. I used infill of around 10% and it took 2 hours on my prusa.
If you're using a .4 then I'd recommend 7 or 8 outer layers.
If you want to go easy mode, just print it with 100% infill at in should be very solid.
I recommend using a larger nozzle like the .6 to get well bonded layers.
Make sure you print it in the orientation shown below with the base of the handle flat against the print bed.
