Description
An easy but simple design for eSun cardboard spool adapter.
This adapter prevents problems with using cardboard spool with AMS, such as not smooth rotation.
I designed this adapter leaving the orginal spool holes free, and to be printed with minimum material for a fast and useful print.
No supports needed, easy and fast to print.

Printed easily, worked fairly well. Larger size did not work properly on the spools I had that were larger. I liked the idea of the simplicity of this design, but I think long term it would have been better if it had used the holes in the spool for grip to ensure that it cant slide.

Other Issues:Ams can't close with this ring attached to the spool.

didn't have that issue with all of mine that I printed. did you calibrate your filament and flow?

It's rubbing against the Ams lid. Also read somewhere that the issue might be the rubber casket used in the Ams are not even on all Ams'.

Print went fine, snapped on easy on the spool ... just that the Ams does not close with this ring on the spool because it is rubbing against the top op the Ams door/lid. Might still be able to print with the Ams lid open.

The part fits perfectly onto the reel; however, I couldn't use it with my AMS because when the rings were attached, the reels couldn't rotate within the closed AMS, leading to frequent error messages. Nevertheless, with modifications to the AMS (raising it), it works perfectly. It might be beneficial to include this information as an option.
