Description

Useful little box to carry 5 king size cones on you.

Box outer dimensions are ~ 116 x 78 x 16 mm.

It has a logo in the top that can be painted in slicer using the fill tool - or use the provided profile, which has it pre painted.

If you don't paint the logo, it won't show up in the print at all.

To keep it closed, there's embedded magnets - the magnets are cylindrical 5mm diameter x 5mm length.

Make sure you set them in in the correct orientation and set the pause at before layer 37 (if you print in 0.2mm layer) - or use the provided profile, it also has the pause set in the correct height.

I'd recommend putting a drop of ca glue into the hole before adding the magnet to make sure it's in. If you use a steel nozzle, it could otherwise pull the magnet out when going over it.

Nice model, especially the hinges which work like a charme! Overall it's a really sturdy case. The design... maybe a question of taste... but I like it! I printed it with Bambu PLA matte charcoal (black) and Sunlu PLA silk green on an IdeaFormer PEO-printplate. EDIT: Jetzt erst gesehen... Gruß von BaWü nach Bayern!

Hey I'd like to try to print the 6mm tall magnet version by using 3 5x2mm magnets stacked together but for the 5x King Size Cone model it's actually for the 3x one from your other model :D

very nice. reprinted and think it needs more magnets. used 8 for the 4 holes provided. think it needs 2 more holes but still nice.

What kind of magnets are you using? I used 5x5 cylindrical N45 Neodym mangets - those almost hold up 1kg each. With those it takes some noticeable effort to open it

great model, but a simple clip or stud would be nice, as i admittadly missed the magnet part as i was high af. and now have 4 that i cant keep closed lmfao even if a lil latch for a string wrap would be sufficient or variants of the above besides error on my part great print
