Description

After getting an Epson ET-8500 Ink Tank Printer that uses the Ink bottles / type 114, I found that after filling up the printer, I still had ink left that needed to be stored. According to Epson the bottles need to be stored upright, and knocking them over could did happen when just standing there on a shelf. Therefore I decided to try and design one, and after a couple of versions and a lot of test fitting, this design is what I decided to go for. I do not know if there are other ink tank bottles with exact same physical properties, but if you have the ink bottle typoe 114, this is for you. :)

Note: On the pictures you will notice a color shade change, and this is due to running out of filament mid print. :D

Print settings:

0.4 nozzle with 0.20 mm Layer height.

8% Lightning infil

Seam on back (placed in the rounded corner)

Outer/Inner Wall print order

Avoid Crossing Walls (This adds a few minutes to the print, but was chosen due to aesthetics)

There are 2 plates / models available. The first (Big?) one goes all the way up to the neck of the ink bottle. I made a second version/2nd. plate, with a model that had part of the top cut off just above the “window”, if you prefer to save filament. Approx. 124 gram vs. 104 gram.
