Description

Filament spool holder for Multiboard Based on the design by 3D art

I have made 3 fitting types hex push peg, dual snap and quad snap. The Hex peg version is more a universal fitting but tends to sag with full spools. But the dual and quad snap hold much better but need to be connected to the corresponding snap.

Supports are not needed for the Hex pus peg but are need for the snap versions.

profile prints well. Unfortunately, the snaps keep falling off of the tile. i’ve created a screw on snap that works well for this case. Get rests against the wall if you have 8 mm spacers. https://makerworld.com/en/models/430779#profileId-335343

Thanks for the 5 stars and the feedback. I designed this to work with the the full Multiboard mounting snaps so they would have lots of support behind them so the 1KG would not twist it. I had not intended it to work with just a front snap but you came up with a new way. Nice work. I think i need to add more details in the description on how there intended to work.

I understand! I ended up needing a more practical solution because I didn’t want to put so many screws on the wall and I wanted the flexibility to change the layout if needed. if this new bolt doesn’t work I may have to resort to adding true spacer snaps to the wall…

Thanks for making this! I printed a multiboard mainly for organizing my filament and these work great. The new hex push fit holds well - nice work :-)

For push fit, the one in the raw file does not seem to match the one in the profile - one is hollow and has threads, the other is solid.

Sorry that's my bad the raw file is the old one i forgot to update it with the profile. It is now updated to match thanks for pointing it out.

REALLY appreciate this. The push fits work great. Had some issues with the quad snap, couldn't get them to seat propertly. dual snap worked well too

Thanks for the feed back. Like it say in the description the push fit are not the strongest and snaps are much better. I have been planing to take another look at the push fits as i think i can improve them.

V2 of the push fit Spool holder is now up. It hold full spool much better now.

Did you use the Quad snaps Part a behind it? and it as it say in the description of the print profile the left holder snaps to the right side of the of the quad snap. if you are using duel snaps you need to print the duel snap print profile.

Great work, these worked perfectly for me. I would recommend the snap versions if you plan to put full spools on them like it says in the description alot more sturdy feeling :)
