Description

This wall bracket holds an AMS Lite spool holder and enables you to easily hang spools on the wall, with easy and convient access to change spools. The AMS lite spool holders have a mechanical clutch that retracts the filament a little when the unload process is running.

The AMS Spool Holders can be purchased individually from the Bambu Labs store: https://store.bambulab.com/en-nz/collections/spare-parts-for-ams-lite/products/ams-lite-rotary-spool-holder . The wall mount can be hung in any orientation but you need the correct AMS Spool holder Green unspools anti clockwise, the Yellow variant unspools clockwise.

You'll need to purchase PC4 M10 connectors to clip in PTFE tube. I got mine from AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005129845161.html

Exactly the model I needed. I printed from ASA X CF10.

I was thinking how you managed to print ASA CF on your A1 mini, then saw the P1S at the edge of the photo! Nice set up.

yes you're right, you can see the S there, but it's from AMS, but really under it is P1S (formerly P1P, then I upgraded). Thank you, it took me a while to figure out how to organize the space. I only have a small work area. I rather supported the shelf before putting the A1 mini on it.

Looks good, those shelf supports are on point. I use hex to fill space on my designs too, strong, economic and prints without support!

How much filament does the ams lite spool holder retract.

just a couple of centimetres, but enough to click "unload" and walk away as the filament automatically retracts from the extruder after the cut step.

Also during normal operation the AMS spool puts a little tension on the filament that helps eliminate tangles.
