Description

This modular hydroponics tower lets you grow a large amount of plants without the need of lots of room. Each module fits 3x 50mm (2 inch) pots and has the water tube running up the middle. Just stack as many modules as you require.

Each module is designed to fit 3 M3x4x5 heat-inserts and bolt together using M3 x 6mm bolts.

I designed this to fit on a small 3D printer, with a build area required of 170 x 170.

At the bottom of the stack you need the Base with a 16mm barb fitting and the optional base clamp (to clamp to the other side of a container lid) and attach it to a submersible pump.

At the top you push in the shower head and bolt on the lid. I drilled out the holes of the top module to 4.5mm to fit in 3 heat-inserts to make this secure but it does function fine without the lid bolted down.

Have fun growing!

Awesome so far. I have had no issues with the prints, everything is printing really easy. I have only printed the base and 5 of the tower parts but so far, I like it. I will report back when I actually put it in use. Thank you

Excellent design / print profile with components that fit well together. Planning to integrate a few of these towers to provide an edging to some garden decking.

the design is great! I’m printing in PETG for the first time so I had some prints fail due to bad settings. I tweaked some setting and dried my fillimant and things are working great. I haven’t assembled yet but it seems like the instructions are easy to follow. if anyone knows about the “silicon” tubing… I have to imagine a vinyl tubing would be just fine? silicone is generally very soft and flimsy so that doesn’t seem like the right material…

Works great, I do recommend using silicone on the inside and outside of the cap to prevent slight leaking.
