---------

I release version V2 at your request. Compared to the previous one, I have revised the 3D model to improve the internal edges, the characters are no longer raised but are now engraved on the piece, and finally, the use of brim supports is no longer necessary.

Tolerance Testing for Precision Assembly

When assembling parts that require a snug fit, such as hinges or components needing precise alignment, it's crucial to determine the correct gap between them. This tolerance testing ensures optimal functionality and prevents issues like parts being too loose or too tight.

The tolerance range typically varies from 0.05mm to 0.03mm, depending on the specific requirements of the assembly. Within this range, the ideal fit can be identified through testing.

How It Works:

Performing the Test: Assemble the pieces (square and cylinder in their form )and assess the fit. This is usually done by attempting to insert one piece into respective form and choosing the fit that you preffer, let's say that you like as cilynder fit into the form under 0.2mm label.

Application Example: Let's say we have a shaft with a nominal diameter of 5mm and a hole with the same nominal diameter. if you wan t assembly them you shouldnt simply printi the two pieces with these exact measurements because will result in the shaft not fitting into the hole. To ensure a proper fit, the hole diameter needs to be increased slightly, precisely by 0.2mm. as you found doing the tollerance test! Therefore, the adjusted hole diameter should be 5.2mm.

Conclusion:

Tolerance testing helps fine-tune the dimensions of components for precise assembly, ensuring optimal functionality and compatibility between parts.

This version aims to clarify the process of tolerance testing and its importance in achieving precise assemblies. Let me know if you need further adjustments or additional information!
