Description

I present to you The Stanley (likeness) chapstick container keychain.

A friend had the idea, I modeled the design in fusion.

I modeled/tested it with 3 brands of chapstick brands we have around the house.

Chapstick brand

Burt's Bees

LipSmakers flavors

Keychains are from amazon, you can get any type that have the small loop connectors.

****NOT TO BE USED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES****

I have had a LOT of interest in a  Commercial license on these.  I have created a Patreon just for this purpose.

.16 layer height for the cup .12 for the lid Flipped the cup upright,Printed at 100% is a very tight fit for the Burts beeswax cap(almost too tight) consider upscaling if you want just a snug fit and be able to remove the cap. I've printed at 105% to hold an off brand that was larger then Burts so somewhere around 102-103% might produce a lid that holds Burts snug and still be easy to get in and out of the lid

I did that so that you can just change the tube and leave the lid. that's the way I market it when I sell them

is there anyway to get the lids to print better? they work but it looks horrible underneath

I believe the lids really need supports. I added tree supports and running them again to check. Tried with Tree supports and a little better but still not perfect. Going to try again with traditional supports next.

Hello, my print profiles do have supports enabled for the best printing experience. I would advise not changing the settings to achieve the best possible print.
