Chick panel with mounting pegs, compatible with Ikea Skadis pegboard.
Chick is apx 175 mm x 155 mm, so it prints easily on an A1 Mini at a slight angle.
Model is two objects, by layer height, so it's easy to color if you have an AMS. Or, you can insert a pause at the layer where it shifts to the raised section, and swap filament manually.
I also included a version with screw holes and standoff pegs for separate mounting. Would make a cute earring holder or whatever.
And lastly, I used .14 layer height, as going higher introduces some surface layer defects. It's so short that it's still a fast print. I also used Gyroid infill, as I printed with PETG.
If you used a redish background, and orangish raised surface it may look like a flame charector. Might be fun to try as well.
Pegs:
Included are long and short mounting pegs. Long pegs may be used to offset the printed panel from your Skadis, allowing other attachments to still be used. Short pegs hold the printed panel closer to the Skadis, and may not allow other items to be hung from the panel.
Due to the variability in Skadis holes, and 3d printing in general, you may wish to print a few extra pegs. Sometimes one (side) will be too tight for either the Skadis or the printed panel. I use pliers to push in and remove the pegs when needed. Using the PEI Hot Plate, and no glue, pegs stick fine to the plate. But you will need a brim and supports on the pegs if using a cold or textured plate. And they print more reliably if you use those anyway, so the print profile includes both enabled.
Enjoy,
