03/08/26 - There is now a second lid provided with tighter clearance so that it doens't come back out as easy. It is more difficult to insert into the hinge, but doesn't pull out of the hinge as easy. It is added as a new print profile.

05/16/26 - New insert with sloped sides for pre-roll tubes has been added! It has one spot for a jar still. It is added as a new print profile.

This design started as a personal request—built because my wife wanted a stash box that was organized, practical, and didn’t feel overdesigned. Everything is designed with clean geometry, practical tolerances, and intentional print strategies for a reliable, repeatable result.

This modular stash box is an all-in-one storage solution designed for flexibility, discretion, and everyday convenience. The system combines a hinged stash box, swappable internal inserts, a removable work tray, integrated accessory storage, and threaded lid jars into a single cohesive design that can be tailored to your routine.

The hinged lid is engineered to stay open on its own, making it easy to access contents during prep without needing an extra hand. 

Inside, the box accepts interchangeable inserts for organizing tools, accessories, or personal items. The included threaded jars provide sealed storage for materials you’d prefer to keep contained and portable. If you want any other inserts, let me know and I can make them!

The removable tray is designed to do more than just hold items:

• A dedicated recess that perfectly fits one of the threaded jars, keeping it stable while in use
• A shallow inset surface for material handling, providing a clean, contained workspace
• A built-in edge spout that makes it easy to pour contents back into a jar
• A small auxiliary area for whatever extras you like to keep close at hand

A slot built into the top insert offers quick-access storage for flat items like rolling papers, tips, or small snacks—keeping frequently used essentials right where you need them. I glued this in place with CA glue.

Printing Notes

• Supports are only required on the lid hinge
• Designed to print primarily with larger layer heights for speed and strength
• Threaded jars and lid latch notch use layer height adjustments down to 0.12 mm
• Fine layer transitions allow clean overhangs in critical areas without requiring supports
• Slower outer wall speeds recommended for best thread fit
• Mix materials or colors to subtly differentiate components
