I had a special case where I need to mount DVD drives to walls, as many newer computers no longer include them, and we use DVDs to import and export x-rays, so they are a must have for us. We use the drives so much they often burn out within 6 months to a year on us too, so these USB drives from LG are cheap and easy to swap as needed. The bracket mounts to the wall with 2 screws, and you just slide the drive into place until you hear a click. The drive holds in solid but can easily be removed for replacement.
I recommend printing in PETG, as if you print in PLA, you may not be able to get the drive back out without breaking the bracket. The extra flex of PETG works well for snap into place items.
The specific drive these mounts work with is the LG GP65NB60 8X USB 2.0 Super Multi Ultra Slim Portable DVD Writer Drive available on Amazon.
