Description

I needed a silica gel container with a diameter of 40mm, so I designed it. The bottle is designed to be printed in vase mode.

Printing in vase mode results in reduced printing time and material usage, while also eliminating stringing due to the absence of retractions, resulting in clean print results. additionally, I reduced slits on the cap and bottle to decrease first layer failures.

Recommended printing settings for vase mode bottle

  • Layer height 0.15 - 0.25mm
  • Bottom thickness 1-2mm
  • 0.6mm line width with a 0.4mm nozzle
