If you have the sprite designs already printed on paper or accessible on the Internet, it may be much more convenient for you to print the plates and pixels you need (hence plates with different quantities, it is better to have more than enough)

• Interconnectable 16x16 plates to make designs of 32-48-64-80…  pixels and optional tools all printables in A1 Mini.
• Interconnectable 24x24 plates…  only printable in A1 or superior.
• Independent plates for 4mm and their tools printable in A1 mini

There are very good content sites that you will not need to use the program, such as designs made with Hama or Sprites directly where they can tell you the necessary amount of each color for the pixels.

I have already reported to Makerlab to see if they can adapt to be able to use pixel perfect images at adapted native resolution on their website =D.
