Unlike the many other screw-top containers out there, this one has a few special features I couldn't find anywhere else. First, the lid comes off or on with only 1/4 turn because I used four coarse flutes instead of one fine one. This makes it faster to open and close. Second, the top threads are truncated with a treadless alignment section on the jar. This makes it easier to print, and also makes it easier to start the threads without cross threading. Lastly, the inside bottom is curved so that your worms, grubs, or whatever you use this for don't get stuck in the corners and become hard to remove. Large textures on the outside help when manipulating it with gloves on when ice fishing.
