Description

I saw a toy like this to buy online naturally I decided to try and make one myself since I really love the idea of this kind of simple mechanism as a fidget toy.

note: you're going to need to print 2 of the cap pieces if you intend on printing this.

does this need a spring? magnets? printed on Bumbu p1s; came out clean, but parts may be a little too loose.

No it doesn't need any springs or magnets, everything needed is 3D printed. Maybe putting magnets in it would give it a more satisfying click, but there isnt currently a space for them

My kid was unable to get the end caps on, even with super glue.

Other Issues:printed well, but the tolerances are super low, so it doesn’t work well as a fidget. It’d be better if it clicked in place when cocking and uncocking the action, but it’s too loose to work well.
