Set of Coasters - Simple Two-Color Print [No AMS]

This model includes a coaster, a storage box, and non-slip TPU feet, designed with an outer ring and a separate central insert. The two-tone effect is achieved without using AMS, thanks to a preprogrammed pause in the G code.

How It Works:

First, print the insert.

Print the body; a pause is automatically triggered at the ideal moment.

Place the separately printed insert inside the cavity.

Press “Resume,” and the insert is now locked in place, creating a clean, fused final part.

Print the storage box (the box can hold a maximum of 5 coaster).

Finally, you can choose whether or not to print the TPU feet and glue them to the bottom of the storage box. 

Insert Fit Adjustment:

If the fit between the insert and the body seems slightly loose, you can add a small piece of purge filament between the two parts to achieve a perfect fit. 

Be careful that the piece of filament does not protrude when resuming printing.

In any case, once printing resumes, the insert should be secured and fully fused into the final part.

Recommended Print Settings:

Designed for a 0.2 mm nozzle, the tolerances may be too tight for printing with a 0.4 mm nozzle.

Model tested and printed on a Bambu Lab A1 Mini: final tolerances may vary depending on your machine, calibration, and print settings. 

The ironing settings may behave differently depending on the filament used; adjust them if necessary.
