Bunny Easter Shadowbox
I used ws2812b LED strip, wemos d1 mini with WLED software.

I wish youd put in more detail like the others say, but here’s my 2 cents. I got NEOPIXEL stick AliExpress cheapie 8 LED STICK 5v. installed WLED from the easy web installer. 3 jumper wires +,-, and data wire. NOTE price shown is for 10 STRIPS!! lol 5v, grnd, and pin 4 (GPIO 2) on the wemos d1 mini all next to each other.

I hot glued on its SIDE the stick on the back, so it pointed up. if I did it again I’d place this centrally above the wire hole. hot glued the wemos d1 mini on the back. set as ws812x (first option in LED settings) and set strip length to 8. done! make a preset of your choice or save an effect of current state that you like. (heart bottom right of WLED) and save it as ‘1’. then go back into LED settings and go down to “on boot run preset” and enter ‘1’. done. cascading colours throughout the display. thanks SO MUCH for this model!

used fairy string lights. I put a fair bit in the back cavity and taped them behind the stars. Then I drilled small holes at the bottom of each layer to string the lights around the perimeter each layer.

I printed it at 50% scale, removed the casing of a USB light, stuck it on the bottom plate, and then soldered two wires for power. It's a great model; both my child and I love it.

Really nice. I wish the model had a little more room in the back and some build in way to mount the PCB, but other than that, this looks and works really well.
