This is yet another splitter / adapter for the Carbon/P1/PS with an AMS. It allows you to keep the AMS connected while using single spools. The part is light enough that the PTFE tubes hold it in place. The path favors the AMS to prevent jams, so some manually-inserted filaments may need a little more force to get through the adapter. I've been able to get everything from TPU to CPE-CF through with no issues.
It's meant to work with PC4-M10 PTFE tube fitting adapters. The threads are part of the print and no further drilling or tapping is required. Just screw in the fittings, insert the tubes, and enjoy never having to disconnect the AMS to print non-compatible materials again.
The 3MF includes two versions of the part. One should be printed with supports (auto trees work well). The other includes a 0.8mm layer at the shoulder of the single-side fitting that eliminates the need for supports and is meant to be punched through after the print.
The 3MF was sliced using BambuStudio's adaptive slicing. In order to ensure the threads work well, slice at .12mm or thinner layers. The adaptive layer adjustment will maintain the details at the threads but will save time overall.
I've been using this with no AMS jams for a few months, but your mileage may vary. Note that some of the pictures show an earlier version of the part. The geometry is the same, it just has a different label for the spool port.
