I found a lightsaber on Pinterest (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/51087777017605239/), and I wanted to get some modeling practice in with something fairly simple so I figured a lightsaber was a good place to start.

This model hasn't been printed yet, but everything slices correctly so I think it should be good to print. Cura doesn't like the emitter so it looks strange in the “Prepare” menu, but it slices correctly for me in the “Preview” menu so if you come across that issue you can probably just ignore it.

There are two versions of the pommel/whole models, but the only difference is the little rectangular box on the pommel. The original picture has the box so I kept it in, but I never liked the boxes on lightsabers so I decided to make a version without it.

At the scale I have (which I kind of guesstimated to be roughly double-length), the full hilt measures at 68x68x555mm (2.7x2.7x22in).
