This is an insert for drying silica balls and filament spools for Silvercrest/Quigg 350W food dehydrator.

There are 3 possible applications:

1.) Drying Filament only: up to 3 spools in stack, print only the hood / up to 5 spools, print also the extender & the Filament Holder

2.) Drying silica balls on the plate ground of the dehydrator:

print only “Abschirmung Mitte” and use the origninal hood.

It prevents the balls rolling into the housing of the dehydrator. That happens to me and it stopped working, so have to open it…

3.) Drying silica balls with the stackable System:

print all files but “Abschirmung Mitte”.

You can easily fill in the balls and take them easy off from the dryer.

With the hood included you can stack up to 2 stages of dryer inserts for the balls (that´s enough for about 500g), but you can stack as high

as you want :)

I recommend for the part “Abschirmung Mitte” and the first part “Einsatz Halterung” a print with ASA, ABS, because 70 degrees hot air is to much for the parts on the plate, the other parts are also possible with PETG.

Its an easy was to dry in about 2-3 hours a lot of silca balls or a cheap way for filament spools.
