This spoon dispenser is less than 20 bucks. But, they use the Hewlett-Packard model, and sell a cheap shell, and charge the crap out of you for the stuff that goes inside it.

Thus, putting 3rd party plasticware inside is difficult due to the design requiring specifically sized utensils (boooooo). I recently purchased 1000 sporks and really wanted to be able to use this still.

Thus:

I ran into the exact thing you described. wanting a dispenser for our family holiday gatherings and ran into what you said. I came here looking for a 3d printable one that was more universal but I do love aporks so this might be my answer I didn't know I needed. what spork are you using? or do you think it matters which one to get? have you tried any other spoons or forks in it with this?
