This model is a art-deco style of frame that utilizes the Bambu Labs Backlight Board and holds a lithophane in the same dimensions as the Bambu labs frame. I find it to be more appealing to the eye, looking more like a standard frame, while being more stable and leveraging roughly the same filament amounts as the Bambu variant noted in their wiki.
This design improves on the overall stability of the frame (regardless of portrait or landscape position) as the original utilized a pivoting back leg which when printed in PLA/PETG was slippery so any tension on the USB cable would cause it to fall over backwards.
The portrait design utilizes the frame and a base that inserts into the 2 slots that hold the LED backlight and the diffuser. The landscape design utilizes the frame, a plate (to seal up the slots to block any light emittance) and the base.
The filament usage is as follows:
I have included the diffuser plate from Bambu's wiki for sake of completion of the file to make it a one-stop-shop minus your lithophane.
Assembly is as simple as printing the frame, the base you are looking for (no need to print both, only print the justification you are looking to display), the diffuser and the lithophane. The you can insert the diffuser into the smaller slot (if a bit too snug, just run a deburring tool down the edge of the diffuser panel) and then insert the LED panel in the back larger slot with the USB port facing the back of the frame. Now you can insert your lithophane from the front of the frame (it should fit snugly into the opening, again if too tight, use a deburring tool to clean the back edges up just a bit until it fits). Now just place the base into the slots (if portrait) or the blocking plate over the slots and then sit it into the base (for landscape).
For help on printing your lithophane, you can utilize the Bambu wiki here: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/knowledge-sharing/CMYK-color-lithophane-printing-instructions
UPDATE - March 3, 2004: The profile has been updated to include a slightly modified frame that gives a little more room for the litho itself as some users reported to having to shave down their printed lithos too much before installing. Also a slight adjustment was made to the slots for the diffuser and LED panel to make them a bit easier to install. No changes were made to the bases or the plate.
