Description

Multicolor Splice Night Light

Spherical Puzzle Lamp: This design requires printing 20 interlocking pieces available in two versions – a 0.2mm variant for enhanced translucency, albeit with a softer feel, and a 0.4mm version for added rigidity and a softer glow.( I would recommend 0.4mm more

You can use different colors to print, so the color of the light will be very beautiful.

Begin by assembling the first five pieces sequentially to form the base, then gradually insert subsequent layers, creating the spherical shape. Insert an LED light to complete the assembly

ok so I printed this in the .2mm version using a .2mm nozzle and .1mm layer height (so two layers). I use overture glow-in-the-dark PLA. At first I thought I would never get this thing together, but then it turned into a bit of a fun puzzle. It was frustrating, but I got there. It is pretty fragile in its finished form, I think I'll print the thicker version next and compare it. This thing is pretty cool considering it's about 20g in total material. I think I'll print a handful of them and make some sort of hanging mural.

Anyone have any tips for assembly? I think I have the base together correctly, but from there I'm less certain how to proceed.
