Description

Update Version 2 (3/4/24):

Added print profile V2 (190mmFramesV2MW profile) that requires WAY less supports (only needed for key overhangs on two frames, other frames need 0 supports.

Be sure that hueforge print dimensions* are set to 190 x 190 to fit this updated frame version otherwise V1 with deeper pockets will be needed.

*Do NOT change the dimensions of the Frames, they are set with specific tolerances and any adjustment large or small will effect how they slot together

200mm Interlocking Frame can be found https://makerworld.com/en/models/217207#profileId-236230

180mm Interlocking Frame can be found https://makerworld.com/en/models/226156#profileId-243905

Original (2/24/24)

190mm Interlocking Frames for Ninja turtle Hueforge
Use supports

  • If you print the Top Right (Mikey 190) or Bottom Left (Donny 190) no key slots protrude out and can be used as single use.
  • Top Row picture slots come from the top down (Leo and Mikey). Bottom Row Slots come from the left (Donny) or right (Raph)
    • Pictures can be taken out and replaced at all times, nothing is blocked
    • Can hold up to 3mm Thick Lithos or hueforge

Hueforge links: If you happen to grab the 200x200 ones, you will need to trim off 5mm on each size. I apparently only grabbed the Michelangelo 200x200 the rest all seemed to be 190mm anyways. Even trimming isn't a big deal as its all black anyways.

i imagine that I missed something but I adjusted all the frames to be 190 x 190, have two of them printed out, but none of the slots are lining up

The frame itself does not need to be adjusted (I apologize for wording and adjusted it to avoid confusion) , if you adjusted dimensions on those, they would not match up as tolerances were designed in at original sizing. Any Hueforge print itself (say the turtles for example) need to be 190x190 to slot in and fit (do not change the z height as that will cause the Hueforge print to change itself)

I have updated Version 2 added to the model for WAYY less to no supports needed. Supports only needed on keys and not for the inner channel Be sure the print dimensions are 190x190. Also have a 200mm frame in files, and will be adding a 180mm frame soon
