Bill of Materials
Description
This version consists of two parts: the main 3D printed structure and the decorative front panel, designed to be used as a medallion or illuminated plaque
The circular panel features text arranged along the outer edge and a central logo; it can be printed separately or combined with the main body to create a complete lamp/sign
The model is a reinterpretation of BambuLab's MakerLab Light Box project, with a customized design for the front and aesthetic adaptations
The medallion file can be downloaded individually, but it is an integral part of the overall project
Fonts and graphic details:
To create the front panel, stencil-style fonts are necessary to avoid losing the internal parts of the letters during cutting or printing
In this project, the Beon font was used for the 360° circular text, which however presents the problem of drop-out parts: for letters like "O", it is necessary to manually preserve and glue the internal parts onto the white PLA disc to maintain text legibility
In the SVG file, the font used for the central logo is Super Glue
Assembly:
To attach the decorative parts to the white PLA disc, no special adhesives are needed: a good PVA glue is more than sufficient
I use Vinavil Stella Blu glue, which offers clean and durable adhesion even on smooth surfaces like PLA or thin wood It is easy to spread, does not yellow, and allows for small adjustments before complete drying
