Description

A better spool holder for the Flash Forge for the Adventurer 5M.

There are 2 versions of the profiles - Long (Orig) and Shorter (66mm) for different length Holders.

There is a model for facing towards the front of the machine, away from the machine and both directions.

Flashforge recommends printing this with PETG. I printed this with 3 walls and 20% Gyroid infill with supports on. I attached the Orca Slicer files below.

I printed these on the M5 and a few other printers just to test.

does this use screws that are already on the 5M or do I need to buy different ones ?

You need to source them. There is a list on the Flashforge wiki for the M5. it's on the list for the remix.

I also think it reuses the screws where the filament sensor is as well. when I installed this version on my printer I had already printed most of the shell. I will make an update to the description soon. thank you for the feedback.
