Thanks for putting this together. I am curious if you have the Amazon links for the fans and step down power module. The fan - is it the Noctua NF-R8 redux? Is it the 3 pin (1200) or 4 pin (1800) Where did you plug these in? Are there dedicated connectors available on the motherboard or did you have to inline parallel? Are the connectors on the board 2 or 4 pin? I appreciate any answers you can provide. Another question: is there an advantage of using a 12V fan versus 24 V fan? Why did you select 12? Just to answer my own questions... Looks like you can tap into the existing 2pin connector on the board (The fan you have marked as not used) The other fan... you need to take off the tight frame to get access to the power supply screws... replacing the panel reveals another 2pin fan. Researching fans.. looks like the super quiet ones are all 12v.... thus the need to covert. I started to do this on the 5M-NonPro but decided to upgrade to the 5M-pro so I will see if this works on the pro.

Did you make your own cases for the step-down modules, or is there a link you can provide to where you found them? If you made them yourself, would you consider posting them as well? Thank you!

Great Stuff! Where did you connect the power supply fan too?

To the pin inside the power supply, instead of the original fan.
