Description

I decided to make a large version of my elephant face hueforge. This one prints in 4 pieces that will need to be glued together in some way.

1kg roll of filament to show scale in the cover picture.

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

 

Filaments Used:
PLA+ Sunlu Black Transmission Distance: 0.6
PLA+ Sunlu Grey Transmission Distance: 2
PLA+ Sunlu White Transmission Distance: 5

 

Swap Instructions:
Start with Black
At layer #15 (1.28mm) swap to Grey
At layer #30 (2.48mm) swap to White for the rest.

how did you split the stl file? or you splited the image and make the stl from those 4 pictures?

I actually sized it up in hueforge then used Bambu slicer to spilt it onto 4 plates. You could size it up with Bambu slicer as well you just have to make sure you don't adjust the z (turn off uniform scaling). The z layers need to be the same so the colors print at the correct heights.
