This design holds build plate(s) vertically along the RIGHT side of the printer. Two lugs attach the stand snugly against the printer. I've uploaded models and print profiles for single-plate and dual-plate versions.
Amazing. I just changed the setting of how walls are printed because I was afraid of the infamous benchy hull line. Also, reduced outer wall speed for more even wall shine.
I've been using my printer for a while since the time I printed this model. One thing caught my attention, which I should have noticed earlier: the feet that should be parallel with this plate rack are in the air – they don't reach the table where the printer is placed. I completely missed this point until I attempted a print at faster speeds. This issue is even noticeable in the pictures I included in my previous review. @JetSpool , is this the intended design, or is there something I'm missing?
Hmmm... interesting. I designed it to be thin enough to fit underneath the printer with all 4 feet in contact with the floor. Maybe Bambu had a mid-geration update that changed the height of the feet? seems unlikely - but it also seems unlikely Bambu has that much manufacturing variation in their printers. I would make sure the lugs in the base fit into the correct holes in the underside of the printer, but I'll measure the standoff height of my printer when I get back there later this week. I'll take some pics too, but my print does have a little slop between the floor and the bottom of the printer when installed.
printed beautifuly, when installing make sure that once you have it installed if the feet are still not touching just push down gently from the top of the printer and it will snap into place
