Description

As a loyal servant of the goddess Shar, Shadowheart can be cold and calculating, willing to do whatever is necessary to serve the Dark Lady with utter devotion.

 

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

Filaments Used:
PLA BambuLab Basic Black Transmission Distance: 0.6
PLA BambuLab Basic Blue Gray Transmission Distance: 3
PLA BambuLab Matte Marine Blue Transmission Distance: 2
PLA BambuLab Basic Orange Transmission Distance: 10

 

Swap Instructions:
Start with Black
At layer #6 (0.56mm) swap to Blue Gray
At layer #9 (0.8mm) swap to Marine Blue
At layer #10 (0.88mm) swap to Orange for the rest.

I had to do some reading on how to do hugeforge and make the layer/color settings. Youtube video and I got it set up. Came out great.

@Regis Hi! Is this a litophane or the colors just look like that without being lit? It looks so good and I wanna print it if it doesn't need any light. Also, I'm still new to 3d printing, so I'm not really familiar with the concept of "transmission distance". I see is something related to HueForge, but is this any setting I need to tweak in Bambu Studio or something?

Hello! :) It's not a lithograph, it's purposely made to "lit". :) Each filament has different light transmission properties. Most of them are quite similar, but some can be quite different. The Transmission Distance is the amount (in millimeters) of material required to significantly dim the light to a point where more thickness will not significantly stop more light. As an example: For PolyTerra PLA Charcoal Black, it requires a 0.3mm thick wall to prevent most of the light from passing through. However, for me, just follow the color shade and the result will be identical.
