Description

I liked the idea of managing the pills I need to take every day using a rolltop box because they look nice. :) However, most rolltops make it annoying to pull out a single day's prescription. So, what makes this one different is that the rolltop spans the entirety of the box, minus one day, therefore getting meds out is just a simply matter of sliding the opening to the chosen day and turning the box over. Yeah, it's slighly more annoying to fill the box at the end of the week, but personally, my wife really likes the look, so it's worth it. She claims my small morning and evening B&W versions look very “modern farmhouse”.

 

To achieve a workable sliding top, I designed a low friction path for it to slide around. It works great for me and with just a few days of use, it gets even smoother.

Exported the G code for the front plate, added two pauses to switch the filament and it came out great!!

Not sure what TPU part you're referring to. All of this can/should be printed in PLA. PETG may work. TPU would be pushing it as you may have noticed. Not sure why you'd need that anyway. :) Happy printing!
