Description

A terrier with a rose, that I printed for my niece for valentines day.

I have assigned the model to have a variable layer print height, which means that the first 4 layers of the model will print with a 0.16 layer height, and switch to a 0.08 layer height for the details. If you use my uploaded print profile this will save you time on your print as the first 0.64mm is just to provide stability to the print for display.

Final Size is 100x100mm

If you resize the model from 100 x 100 make sure you do NOT scale the Z axis or the print colours will not be in the same position

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

Filaments Used:
PLA Sunlu Black Transmission Distance: 2
PLA Overture Red Transmission Distance: 4.8
PLA BambuLab Basic Blue Gray Transmission Distance: 3
PLA Overture White Transmission Distance: 6

Swap Instructions:
Start with Red
At layer #11 (0.96mm) swap to Black
At layer #19 (1.6mm) swap to Blue Gray
At layer #25 (2.08mm) swap to White for the rest.

One of my favourite Hueforges at Makerworld! Its so cute! I will try to 150% the size in X and Y and maybe the frame will fit too with 150%? hmm... I think not? Printed that hueforge on a plate from Ali, the effect is really nice, but better on black filament

I love the sparkle effect! You can scale up the picture to 150x150 no problem (just leave the Z scale alone), but the frame will not scale the same. I could add a 150x150 frame this weekend though if you do scale it up. I also have a 200x200 frame intended I just haven't had the chance to work on it (and there are other 200x200 frames around)

awesome print. i scaled x/y to 200%. the frame is also 200%. surprised my wife and she really loves it.

beautiful print. Gave to my wife for valentine's day. i did need to adjust filament changes to match correct layer heights.

if you used my profile there are adaptive layer heights, so the layer # for the change doesn’t match my profile (instead you have to look at the height) I’m glad that she enjoyed it though! thanks for rating!
