Description

This is a remix of the Customizable Filament Holder from HugoHuge on thingiverse.

you will need two 608 bearings. I used these one:
https://www.amazon.ca/-/fr/gp/product/B09PKD8QZZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&th=1

I use it on my Ender 3 v2 and CR-10-v2 but it should fit most if not all Creality printers. It's working well even on my inclined CR-10 arm.

The original model is excellent, but I found that everyting was a bit too loose. It does not really matter once assembled, but still, I did not like that everyting was loose and falling appart while I was building it or examining it from different angles.

What I changed:

  • I added small clips to the base to hold the roll and bearings attached once inserted
  • I increased the diameter of the pegs that hold the bearings to avoid them falling off if you take the roll out of the base for any reason.
  • I merged the components of the creality's base and bolt into a single part.
  • I've flatten the bottom of the model a little bit to be able to print it upright on the bed with just a little support for the bolt and the holes
