IMPORTANT NOTE ON COMMERCIAL USE OF MY MODELS

Please note that I am sharing my designs to any one to enjoy but for personal use only. I have NOT provided any commercial license to any one allowing the sale of 3d printed copies of my designs. Seeing my designs being sold for profit is discouraging for me to continue coming up with more designs.

I will not hesitate to report to Etsy and other online sites if I find them being sold.

__________

This is a kit card of Minecraft Turtle in mini figure scale. Parts can easily be removed from the sprue without using cutters/clippers just by twisting the part.

Default scale is comparable to the Minecraft mini figures but of course you can scale it up to as large as you want! :)

Usage Options

  1. Assemble as is and use as toy/collectible; or
  2. Use the alternative part with loop and glue the halves together to make for a great keychain ornament!

Printing Reminders

  • Print as oriented, with NO supports needed.
  • If you're printing in multiple colors, please note that due to several color swaps, it would take longer to print.

Difficulty Level (Easy, Medium, Hard)

  • Printing: Medium - Bed should be leveled well to ensure small parts stick well to the build plate. Requires printing slower during the first few layers. May require lots of filament swaps if printed in multi-color.
  • Assembly: Easy - Parts should fit really easy. The flippers are intentionally designed to be loose and wiggly. See pictures for correct orientation of the flippers.

Mine printed with brim and it sealed the bottom of the turtle shell. I turned off brim and resliced the file but looking at the shell it still looks sealed off across the bottom. anyone else having this issue?

If you are to print with brim, make sure it's set to "Outside only"

one of the 2 worked on my a1 mini. had to cancel the second one part way through. the fins started getting messed up and peeling up.

Thanks for the feedback. I take that you print these directly from the Handy app? If so, please ensure you clean the printbed with alcohol prior to printing these coz there really aren't much wide surfaces for the parts to stick to the bed. If you do decide however to print through Bambu slicer, you can try printing with brim to improve bed adhesion for those really little parts.

yea I always clean the print surface between prints. I did use the app just cause it's so simple. I'll try loading it in the slicer next time. thanks for the tips.

really cool print. one of two failed. first time I had to figure out how to cancel the failed print. the one finished out and turned out amazing. the failure was the 4 little flippers.
