Description

Boost Me (for free)

I would really appreciate a boost. But just downloading and testing my project is enough.
I'm trying to have this as  modular and open as possible. So im releasing all the STEP files I can along with the STLs.

This is a modular gridfinity sorting box system that need no support, except for some bins, and you can put SKADIS or HSW on the ends.

A lot of STL files are ready to be downloaded, I've only put some of them in the 3mf files for now.
A small assortment of bins are avaiable right now. More will be added when I make new ones.
More accessories are planned to be added.

The feet and top are mounted with M3x8-10mm bolt screws.
The side systems are mounted with M3x20 bolt screws.
The box core also have the possibility to use M3 heat inserts for the side systems. You can then use shorter screws.

Because the core box, sides, top and feet are printed individually you dont need support and you can make it as colorfull as you want.

The Boxes can be stacked on each other if you use the top plate and feet.
All bins are gridfinity compatible.

One negative part of this project is that two units cant sit next to eachother on a gridfinity grid. Because I wanted all the bins to be gridfinity.
But they are easily placed next to eachoter without the gridfinity grid on the bottom.

STEP files are included, so if you want to make something yourself that fit with this system, please do.
If there is a step file missing, tell me and I'll get on it as fast as I can.

There is a box configurator made in OpenScad that you can download incase you want to make your own size.
You will need to install OpenScad to use it. I couldnt get it to work online sadly.

There is a Label maker you can use on the website. Just press customize and you can create the label you want.

The bins are made with your favorite bin generator. Then I added a handle with label slot to them. The handles are in the step files, so you can easily add them onto yourself.

Building blocks are available in the step files, so you can build up your own box that has a more custom shape than the OpenScad program can do.

Update 2025-09-21:
*Added more bins
*Added a 5 wide 4 unit deep test box core
No bins or side systems for the 4 deep yet
*added Opengrid sides 3x1-5
*added side by side fit pieces to get your boxes to fit right next to eachother without gliding away from eachother.
