Description
I found a 5-way DC splitter with built-in EMI filtering but couldn’t find a fitting case, so I made one.
The splitter takes a single DC input and distributes it to five DC outputs. The nice extra: each output has its own EMI filter. The housing is intentionally simple and needs no screws or additional hardware.

- Input voltage: 5–48 V DC (up to 56 V only if onboard components are rated ≥63 V)

Dimensions
- Housing: 35 mm x 90 mm x 22 mm
- Lid: 35 mm x 90 mm x 5.8 mm
Assembly
- Slide in the single-input side first, gently.
- Then seat the five-output side.
- Align the two small locking tabs with the board’s screw holes, these snaps secure the board.
- Once the lid is on, the board is held firmly in place.
Printing
- I recommend PETG for a bit more flexibility.
- If you print in PLA, be extra careful on the 5-port side because forcing it can cause cracks.
Note
The 5-port face has a deliberately wide opening. On the samples I had, the DC jacks were mounted with inconsistent spacing and slight misalignment. A tighter cutout would not fit reliably. This larger opening isn’t as tidy, but it keeps the enclosure practical and compatible.
