A compact slot in holder for Bambu Lab spools to hold 500g trimming weights - to help stop the issues you sometimes get with  the AMS when spools start to get nearly empty. I've found things like batteries to not be heavy enough.

NB/ This is only for the X1/P1 AMS - not the AMS Lite.

The idea of this design is that you keep an empty version of the holder in the middle of every spool, and then slot in the weights when the spool starts to become empty or misbehaves.

The weights are quite expensive - so you do not need many of them if you take this approach. Also you shouldn't really insert the weight until the spool is at least half empty - as the AMS motors are only really designed for up to 1kg weights.

The print profile included has two sizes - 53.5mm (red) and 54.5 mm (grey) - but I have found the 53.5mm version works well for most of my spools.

NB/ The design is sized specifically for the Bambu Lab spools I have - but I am happy to create versions for other size inners on request via the comments.
