Dragon Spring

This year's zodiac animal is the "Dragon", wishing everyone "Dragon Spring" (homophone for "abundant surplus") in the new year! This 3D model "Dragon Head" was originally designed by teacher Guo Zi-Ling, guided and corrected by teacher Hong Xin-Fu, and specially shared by teacher Li Zheng-Xian. I referred to the original "Dragon Head" drawing and added the "Spring" character to redesign and draw it into a 3D model that can be 3D printed and assembled! There are 2 components, when assembling, first insert the upper part of the second component (2-DragonSpring) into the gap in the middle of the first component (1-DragonSpring) and move it up to the top, then insert the lower part of the second component into the lower groove of the first component. Due to the precise size, it is strongly recommended to scale proportionally when printing (the default gap width of the components is 3mm), and it will take a bit of skill to insert the components. In addition to being used as a desktop decoration, this model can also be combined with a rope for hanging use!

In addition, you can also download the paper model image file (Dragon_Spring_paper.zip), unzip it and print it out with "cardboard" to use as a paper model (because it is used as a paper model, the gap width of its components has been designed to be no more than 1mm thick, so it is not suitable for general wood or acrylic laser cutting).
