Description

The goal of this model is the prevent the tensioner form tilting by containing it more on the Z and X axes. This will prevent the belt to wear unevenly and increase its life spend.

2 x M3 x 30mm SHCS screws

4 x M3 x 16mm SHCS screws ( for Creality K1C Only)

Installation Guide

  1. Remove the screws on the tensioners.
  2. Remove the covers of the cable race way to make some room for inserting the wedges.
  3. Insert the wedge from underneath the stepper mount and slide it into place.
  4. Push on the top of the tensioner to lock in place the wedge.
  5. Screw the M3 x 30mm on its handle and screw it into the tensioner side.
  6. Place the plate and add the two screws. Don't be afraid to tighten them firmly even if you ear some cracking noises coming from the plate. It's normal the first time.
  7. Repeat those operations for the second tensioner.
  8. Put back in place the cable race way covers.
On the K1, you might need to cut a little piece of the cover in order to be able to put it back

This is such a smart mod and quite a good fix, just wish I had these before I cranked down on the screws and deformed the belt tensioner. Don’t know if it’s because the deformation or print but it pushes the tensioner just slightly too high so the belt rides on the top of the pulley gears. Perhaps oval holes on the outside piece would allow for the screws to slide vertically a bit and push the tensioner up or down when tightened would be good?

Thank you ☺️ I not sur what's happening there but I tried to make sure the wedge it's fully inserted (down). Try to push on the top of the tensioner to push the wedge down as much as possible. Let me know if it works ;)

Replying to @Henlor :
That’s what I ended up doing as well, after examining it a bit I realized the wedge aligns it quite well in the middle, the 2 bolt holes for the tensioner are a bit too high (because my stock tensioner is warped inwards from previous screwing down). When I tighten the 2 screws, it pulls the tensioner up a tiny bit which is too high from my warping. I ended up pushing down on the top portion as I’m tightening and filed the holes into ovals vertically. works well now :)

Why can we filter print profile for other printers on the search results page 🤔

Most things on Makerworld aren't for Bambu printers... is an articulating dragon or a light box of Mickey Mouse "for Bambu printers"? I print parts for other (non-bambu) printers on my Bambu all the time and I print models from Makerworld on my other printers as well. Not sure what the hang up is here lol
