Description

This is the organizing Tray for my soil pellets / pods.
You can find them here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/169780
Or just check out my profile and other uploads.

There is a central watering port in the center of the tray to water all the seedlings at once.

Check out my other uplods!

@Altaire Thank you for the feedback and making me aware of the problem. My print was fine, but double checked the file in the newest BambuStudio after your comment. I saw in the slicer that there now was a problem with the draining ports. They were blocked but I have no idea how that could happen in the new version of BambuStudio.... I fixed the problem and uploaded a new version. So im really sorry for the problems you had with your version and print. Maybe you can break free the parts that are blocked. If it doesn't work maybe a solution is to reprint it with the new file I uploaded. And again sorry for the inconvenience. I attached 2 photos comparing the old slice and the slice with new file.

This might be a silly question, but I am new to gardening. Do you have to use soil pellets or pods, or can you use soil blocks? I found I can make block with a model I found and I'm curious if they might be able to work with this. Or I guess is there a way to DIY the pods? I just was hoping to avoid having to buy them if I can make my own.

Hey ;) I personally think that it doesn't matter that much which medium you use for your seedlings. Normally I just use the cocos pods for comfort and ease of use. Take one pod water it a little bit so it swells up, put the plant seed in the little dent in the middle of the pod and slightly press it in. Thats it. I think it should work exactly the same with soil. Maybe the difference is that some soil allready contains fertilizer Just give it a try ;)

Omg, I love the idea and the design and have to print one. Thank you so much! I was just wondering: What would be handy for all the seed crazies, like myself, is this to fitted right for the midi and small sized sammla boxes from IKEA ;)
