Just loosen the screws on the deadbolt plate and slide the cover underneath. Then retighten the screws on the deadbolt

my son is autistic and will try to wander out of the front door. He's 5 and can unlock it, but this print has given me a peice of mind. I recommend all parents print this with smaller children because you don't want the first time they learn how to unlock the door to be when your in the bathroom.
