Parametric Wire Rack - MultiBoard

Description
Heres what I think to be the best wire spool rack design. It is compatible with MultiBoard, but you could also just have it seeing on your work bench. It uses minimal filament, is plenty strong, and has a place to tuck the wire ends in to keep them from sloppily hanging out at different lengths and directions. Its also really easy to put the end of a tape measure onto the wire rack and cut many measured lengths of wire quickly and easily. The best part, though - it is fully parametric. You can either use one of the versions I've prepared, download and modify the Fusion project I've included, or use the MakerWorld customizer to easily get just the right part for your application.
This mounts very simply using MultiPoints (as shown in the pictures), which are included in the default print profile. The smaller, lighter spools only need one MultiPoint screw for each end. For the larger, heavier spools pictured here, I would recommend having two MultiPoint screws for each side.
The racks in my included Bambu Studio project are for the 4 on my MultiBoard pictured in my post. For the larger 6 spool versions, they are ~45.5mm thick and 81mm in diameter. I have versions for 16 and 22 AWG wire. The smaller two holders are for 5 and 6 count wire spool sets. These were made using the MakerWorld customizer and are for the thinner hook up wire spools that come and usually stay in those little cardboard boxes with holes punched in them. This is so much better than keeping them in those boxes!
The racks for the bigger spools that are included in the project are about 292mm wide - about 40mm wider than the X1, P1, and A1 series' beds. This requires either being split up into multiple smaller parts or printing on an H2D. I have included alternate versions for the majority of you that don't have an H2D!
Different Versions:
- The default 292.3mm wide version shown the post's pictures
- 6 spools at 45.8mm thick and 81mm in diameter
- One for both 16 AWG and 22 AWG wire
- A version of the 16 AWG default version split in half for printing on printers smaller than the H2D
- Includes some small printable dowels to join the two halves together
- I have not tested the fit of these dowels. It is possible you will need to slightly scale them up or down. This should be easy and cheap to reprint if necessary, as the dowels are very small. Just make sure you only resize the dowels and not the larger part!
- A ~50mm single-wide version for tiling multiple side-by-side on the MultiBoard
- Actually 49.6mm wide, just to make sure there is enough space to fit it in and out between two other pieces
- I have not tested fitting multiple of these together. Please share pictures and feedback if there is too much space or not enough between these!
- A simplified version to be fully customizable with the MakerWorld customizer
- The simplification is that the side profile does not use splines anymore for the shape, but instead uses a straight line. Everything else is the same.
- You can fully configure all of the parameters listed below
- To add the label text to these, use the text tool in BambuStudio. You can check the smaller wire racks I have in there for an example on how this is done. It is very simple!
Modifiable Parameters:
- Number of spools
- Thickness of spools
- Diameter of spools
- Diameter of wire coming out
- This should be a millimeter or so wider than your wire to ensure it spools out without too much friction
- Diameter of wire tucking back in
- This should be just slightly wider than your wire.
Note: Since you aren't able to user parameters to change the text on a label, you will have to add your custom label in the slicer as a modifier. Alternatively, you could download the Fusion file, change the parameters there, and then make your label that way.
