Purpose

This is a vat frame that allows stacking several vats of Uniformation GK TWO on top of each other in which resin can be stored. The frame fits both the top lid of the original vat and a flat desktop. The purpose of this frame is to prevent UV infiltration into the resin vat.
This way you can quickly switch between different types of resin without the need for messy and time consuming cleaning.
Although you prevent UV light from entering in this way, it is not an entirely ideal storage method. Especially if it is going to be for an long time, when you are not using the resin, it is better to put it back in the bottle. However, for small series production, it will help to improve the daily workflow.

For stacking two vats you need two frames. One on the bottom, one in the middle.

Design

The entire frame is designed at the quickest speed to be available as soon as possible. The connection of the individual parts could be much more sophisticated. You can start remixing :-)

Build

The parts are designed for FDM printing from black PETG or PLA, the parts fit together smoothly and are glued together with your favourite glue (kyanoacrylic with activator in my case). No need to invent complicated designs, glue is always available :-)
