UPDATE 3/23/24  Crossbeam added for easier spool changes and adding a guide.    One works fine   20g    2 will increase stiffness of setup allot.

This is a Spool Holder I designed to top mount onto the K1 Max for printing Tpu or any other flexible filament. Will also work with anything else you can print without the lid.

spool to print head is 100mm so fairly low profile  adding only 300mm total height to the machine (roughly 12")

Requires a 300mm build plate to print (ideally on your K1 Max, Unless you stand them on the sides and turn them at an angle and print with supports Doing so all 4 pieces could be made on a single build plate on a 256 plate.

Filament sensor will need a small piece of filament slid into it or chose ignore filament runout sensor warning.

Bearings needed will be 608 bearings. They don't fit loose but also aren't press fit i used a small dab of glue to ensure they stay on the roller.

Print two of the stands, they are the same left/right and do not need to be mirrored.

Under 200g filament usage. small amount of supports are needed for roller and roller housing.

Any material may be used as this will be above the machine even pla will hold up.
