My cats figured out ages ago that they can “steal” extra food but reaching up the spout of smart feeders to fish out some extra food between feedings. In an effort to mitigate this I've designed this spout guard that introduces angles that makes it more difficult for the cat to reach up to the belt, so they can't pull down an extra snack between meals. The model is split into two parts, to save on support material. Once assembled, the spout fits in between the bowl and feeder, using the machine's existing clip design.
