I needed a stand for my angle gauge. I added magnets (15mm x 2mm thick) to hold it in place and a spirit level (8mm) for extra leveling. For the base, I added a 25mm x 4mm thick piece of metal for magnetic adhesion. Everything fits together, but a dab of glue on the magnets is recommended.

The tool I use is this CMT DAG-00Single Pocket Digital Protractor, Orange/Black: Amazon.it: Business, Industry & Science, but it should adapt to all commercially available tools measuring 33mm wide by 51mm long.

N.B.!!!!!

The magnets hold well, but it is not recommended for use on pipe benders, etc, as it might fall. I am working on a version with a screw clamping system for a more secure grip.
