Description

A japanese torii shrine. If my research is correct, it should be a Daiwa or Inari torii.

I use it as a headphone stand. But also looks nice standing on a shelf without headphones :)

The japanese character on the shrine means “peace”

If you want to have the sign print: "Shinto_middlepart_for_sign"

If not, you can use: “Shinto_middlepart_without_sign”

I designed it from scratch and tried to avoid that the first layer is visible after assembly (shiny surface and different from all other surfaces).

Absolutely wonderful! I scaled the model because it was too big for my purpose, but came out beautiful. The assembling was satisfying too :)

absolutely beautiful model to print and build , super satisfying, I did the base in grey and fuzzy skin to give a stone/rocky/concrete apearence with a Herbert Curve top layer for some texture,

Great design! Looks absolutely awesome on pics and even better in real life. I printed the A1 Mini profile and thought it could hold my headphones, but i didn't realise it was scaled down and it didn't fit them. But that doesn't matter, that was my fault :D It will be awesome in the background of my streaming setup. Great job!

Turned out great! Used a little glue on the beams to make sure its stable and that's it! Smart design and I like the use of a compression fitting on a cross member. Only problem was the top roof cap, tried to glue it in place (mistake....sanded away the residue i could) it didn't fit but with a little filing I'm sure I could make it work. Also it prints both center pieces, a blank red square and the angled 45 notched for the inscription (which i used)

One of the tiny wedges went flying from my pei plate. Waiting on a new one to print with the placards. Tolerances are bang on. The way the strip that holds the black roof parts together slides on magically well. I did change the infill to gyroid. No adhesion issues.
